Symphony distributor, Joseph Lee, CEO of of CPS Technology in South Korea was very happy to be attending the launch of the newly established SDX Carbon Reduction Committee. The event took place at the National Assembly Library in Seoul on 25 and 26th July 2023.
CPST are strong advocates for the use of d2w biodegradable plastic technology, to help prevent food waste and limit the amount of plastic waste in the open environment.
The purpose of the committee was to enable the private sector to be proactive in taking the lead on carbon reduction, to discover new technologies, and educate on climate action, campaigning to spread the word so climate action can move a bit faster.
The event was sponsored by Samil Accounting Firm and was attended by Kwon Seong-dong, Chairman of the People’s Power, Kim Hak-yong, Rep. Yang Ki-ki, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, Kim Jung-won, director of the Climate and Carbon Policy Office of the Ministry of Environment, and Jang Heung-soon, former president of the Venture Business Association.
The newly established SDX Carbon Reduction Committee is chaired by Chung Sung-woon. Other members include Hwang Yong-woo, president of the Korean Society for Life Cycle Evaluation, Kim Tae-hwan, full-time vice president of the Korea Industrial Intelligence Association, Hyun Dong-hoon, director of the Carbon Neutral Innovation Center at Korea National University of Engineering, Ha Ji-won, CEO of Ecomom Korea, Koo Tae-eon, CEO of Lin Taek & Law Division, Moon In-sik, director of BssSid, and Hong Sung-woong, professor at Cheongju University.
