Our technology is sold, usually in the form of additives or masterbatches, in nearly 100 countries around the world to protect the environment, and human health and safety.
d2w
We supply biodegradable plastic technology to reduce the problem of plastic pollution of the environment, by turning ordinary plastic, at the end of its service-life and in the presence of oxygen, into biodegradable materials. It is then no longer a plastic and can be bio-assimilated by bacteria and fungi on land or sea, who recycle it back into nature, leaving no microplastics or toxic residues. The technology is branded d2w® and its logo has appeared on many thousands of tonnes of plastic products around the world for more than twenty years.
d2p
In addition, Symphony has developed a range of additives, concentrates and masterbatches marketed under its d2p® brand, which can be incorporated in a wide variety of plastic and non-plastic products to provide protection against many different types of microbes, insects, odours, fouling and fire, and to reduce the wastage of food.
Symphony has a diverse and growing customer base and has established itself as a strong global business with over 70 distributors around the world. Symphony is accredited to ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Symphony is a member of The Biodegradable Plastics Association (BPA), www.biodeg.org, the Society for the Chemical Industry (UK), and the Pacific Basin Environmental Council. Symphony participates in the Committee work of ASTM and BSI.
